This situation may occur if you do not have sufficient access rights to Facebook Pages.
We recommend checking the following:
-
Is the page public;
-
whether you granted access to all companies and pages during authorization in the communication channel;
-
whether you are logged in with the correct Facebook account and have the role of administrator for the page you plan to connect
-
Facebook’s official instructions for setting up access are available at this link.
For a quick check, we recommend going to the «Pages You Manage» section on Facebook and making sure the page you need is accessible to you.
So first, make sure that new messages were actually received on your page after the connection was established.
If there were new messages but they aren’t showing up in the CRM, check to see if this page was previously connected to another CRM account. In this case, you need to disable the channel in the settings of the old account, and then disable and re-enable the channel in the current one.
If the old account is unavailable or blocked, or if these recommendations did not help, contact support and provide this information.
This error typically occurs when Facebook restricts a Facebook Page’s ability to use the API. Most often, this is due to a violation of Facebook’s policies or previously imposed restrictions on the Page.
To resolve the issue, we recommend contacting Facebook support via the Account Quality Center, describing the problem, and requesting a review and removal of the restrictions on API usage for the page. You can also contact Facebook support directly.
If the error persists after this, further integration work is only possible after Facebook lifts the restrictions.
This situation may occur if Meta restricts or suspends access to your Facebook page.
The reasons for such restrictions and possible solutions are described in the guide «Facebook Messenger FAQ», section 13.
