Since OLX is a marketplace, chats on the platform are a bit different from those on typical messaging apps or Instagram. Overall, communication with customers is similar to that in regular chats.
Chats displaying
The way messages are displayed in keyCRM and on OLX itself differs. The difference is that for each customer, keyCRM will create only one chat, and all of their messages — regardless of which products (listings) they pertain to — will be directed to that chat.
The name of the product the buyer is interested in appears next to each message. By clicking on it, you can immediately open the product on OLX.
Tips for responding in OLX chats
When handling chats on OLX, we recommend paying attention to the following points:

To ensure that the customer receives a reply in the chat regarding the exact item you are discussing with them — before sending it (preferably after composing the message) — be sure to click the three dots next to the relevant message and the «Reply» button;

OLX has a limit on sending files or images. They cannot be sent without text. Therefore, if a file is attached to a message without any text, the «Send» button will be disabled;

You can send a maximum of 9 images in a single message. If you need to send more images, split them into several messages. This is due to OLX’s restrictions.
