If some or all of your products are made to order, this module will help you:

  • give contractors access only to the products they will be manufacturing;

  • assign different products to different producers;

  • track the stage of production of a specific product;

  • if necessary, divide the production of a product into several orders;

  • easily connect managers and producers, all the necessary manufacturing information will be immediately displayed in the order.

Important! To use the module, the administrator must:
1. Activate and configure the module;
2. Enable the shipment type and product status fields for orders.

How to send goods to manufacturing

Open the order and fill in the fields next to the desired product:

  1. Shipping type — select «Manufacturing», you can immediately select the contractor, or leave it blank;

  2. Status — select the desired status of the product;

  3. Comment — if necessary, leave a comment for the contractor.

Note! The product will only be displayed in manufacturing if it has the «Manufacturing» shipment type and any status!

How to work with a manufacturing request

Go to «Sales» - «Manufacturing», where you will find the entire list of manufacturing requests.

The table displays basic information, which can be sorted by clicking on the column headers: Manufacturing number, creation time, status, order number, delivery/shipment date.

If the request does not have a producer or the producer has not seen it yet, it will be highlighted in yellow every time you go to the section:

Available actions with a manufacturing request

In the list, you can:

  1. Change the status of a product during manufacturing;

  2. Add or edit comments on a product;

  3. Split an order: if it contains several units of the same product, you can split it into different manufacturing, the split must be enabled in settings;

  4. View the history of actions in the application;

  5. View the composition of the manufacturing order if it has been split into sub-orders.

Status changes and comments are immediately reflected in the order, so the manager does not need to go to the «Manufacturing» section to view the updates.

Cancellation of a manufacturing request occurs automatically if the product for which it was created is removed from the order.

Search in manufacturing

  1. Quick search to find a manufacturing order by its number or product name;

  2. Advanced search to find a manufacturing order by creation date, delivery date, producer, manager, status, or to hide canceled or child (split) orders;

  3. Search with application highlighting. The shortcut icon to the right of the search bar allows you to find several manufactures at once in order to perform a bulk action on them (change the producer status or print a list). Before searching, click on the icon. When it turns blue, start searching for manufacture (only through quick search). Each manufacture found will be saved in the list along with the previous ones and will be automatically marked with a check mark.

Mass actions with requests

Mark the desired orders with checkmarks, after which the button «Selected: xxx» will appear to the right of the search bar, where the following actions will be available for the selected orders:

  1. Change status;

  2. Change producer;

  3. Print list (prints a list of selected requests);

  4. Remove products from manufacture (available only to administrators). When removing a product from manufacture, the «manufacture» shipment type and product status are removed from the related product in the order.

Use the «Manufacture» module in KeyCRM to efficiently organize the manufacture of products to order, distribute tasks among producers, and track the status of product manufacturing.
