Each product in an order can have its own status, for example, being assembled, awaiting delivery, pick up from supplier, etc.

This allows employees from different departments to understand what is happening with a particular product and avoid unnecessary communication.

How to configure product statuses

Go to «Settings» → «Products» → «Product statuses».

A list of set statuses is displayed, and you can:

  1. Change the display order;

  2. Hide the status from display;

  3. Edit the status;

  4. Add new ones by clicking the «Add status» button.

After setting up statuses, go to «Settings» → «Orders» → «Order Properties» → «Access by order property», and then activate the «Product status» field at the end of the list.

How to work with product statuses in orders

Product statuses can be used both in connection with manufacturing functionality and independently.

To set or change a product status, go to the order, find the product, and click on the «Status» field. You will then see a list of active statuses from which you can select the one you need.

Note! If you want to send a product to manufacturing, in addition to the status, specify the shipment type as «Manufacturing».
