Answer: If the chat does not appear on the website pages, check the following:
-
Have you added the code to the correct file and in the correct place?
-
Have the changes been saved in the file, and can you see this code when viewing the website code through the browser console?
-
Refresh the site cache if you have file and page caching enabled;
-
Try viewing the site in a different browser or in incognito mode, as the browser's cache may also have an impact.
If you have checked everything but the problem still persists, please contact our support team.
Answer: Yes, the chat history will be saved if you close the website and visit it again from the same browser and device, as it is stored in the user's browser Local Storage.
Answer: In the widget settings, you can specify all the text that will be displayed in it. Therefore, you can create several widgets in different languages and add your own widget for each version of the site.
Answer: We recommend creating a separate online chat widget for each website. You can add a link to the website in the channel name so that you can immediately see which website the chat is from.
Answer: When a user visits the website, the widget is activated, and a customized greeting appears next to its icon, which disappears after 10 seconds.
If the user opens the chat, they will see this message in the chat only until they write something in the chat. After that, it disappears and is not saved in the chat history.
Answer: Currently, this feature is not available; only links to bots are supported.
We do not recommend trying to add a number to the widget link, as this may cause the widget to malfunction.
