Tracking the Inventory Movement

We explain how to track transactions involving products.

This section in KeyCRM allows you to track all transactions with products. It displays postings, sales, returns, quick editing of stocks, and inventory transactions.

Important! To access the «Inventory Movement» section, you must first enable stock management.

Where to view the inventory movement

Go to «Catalog» → «Inventory Movements», you will see a list of all operations with products. In the table:

  1. Created at;

  2. Document type:
    - «Edit» (for quick editing of balances);
    - «Sale» (for orders);
    - «Cancellation of sale» (for order cancellations);
    - «Stocks receipt»;
    - «Inventory»;
    - «Transfer from warehouse»;
    - «Import» of balances from a file;
    - «Update via API».

  3. Positions — the number of unique product positions in the transaction;

  4. Amount — calculated depending on the type of transaction, either by purchase price or by sale price in the transaction currency;

  5. Recipient — depending on the type of transaction: warehouse, buyer, or nothing (when editing quickly);

  6. Manager — the person who performed the transaction, or the order manager for the «Sale» and «Cancellation of sale» types.

How to find the necessary operation

To find the necessary transaction, use

  1. Quick search;

  2. Filter by event and creation date;

  3. To view the details of the transaction, click on «Document type» or «Recipient» in the row with it.

What operations are available in the Inventory movements section

In this section, you can perform basic operations with products:

  1. Add a stock receipt;

  2. Create a transfer;

  3. Perform an inventory;

  4. Import stocks from a file.
