If some or all of your products are made to order, this module will help you:

Give producers access only to the products they will be manufacturing;

Assign different products to different producers;

Track the stage of manufacturing for a specific product;

Divide the manufacturing of a product into several orders, if necessary;

Easily connect managers and producers; all the necessary manufacturing information will be displayed immediately in the order.
How to configure the module
Go to «Settings» → «General» → «Products» → «Manufacturing» tab and enable the «Turn on Manufacture» switch.
Additional fields will appear:

Split manufacture orders — activate if you need to be able to break down manufacturing requests for several units of the same product into separate sub-manufacturing orders in quantities equal to the number of products in them;

Product statuses — select which product statuses will be available for use in manufacturing;

User roles — specify the roles that can be assigned as producers in manufacturing requests.
After selecting statuses and roles, click «Save», and a new section, «Manufacturing», will appear in the menu, ready for use:
Additional settings
In order for employees to use the «Manufacturing» module, you need to:

Enable and configure access to the shipment type and product status fields for roles that send manufacturing requests during order processing;

Activate access rights to the manufacturing section in the settings of selected roles, otherwise they will not be able to work with requests, even if they are assigned as producers.
Now you can use the «Manufacturing» module to efficiently organize the manufacture of products to order, distribute tasks among producers, and track the status of product manufacturing.
