Sometimes you may need to quickly add a product to the catalog, or you may simply need to add one or two products. In this case, creating it via import is not very convenient. This is exactly why manual product addition is needed.
How to create a product manually
Go to the «Catalog» → «Products» section and click «Add product» in the upper right corner:
After that, a window for creating a new product will open, where you can specify all the necessary fields:

Name — specify the name of the product in the CRM catalog (does not affect the name of the product at the source);

Category — select the category to which the product belongs. To be able to specify a category, they must be created in advance;

Extra fields — shows your product fields that were created to fill in extra info;

Images — lets you add a few pictures to show off the product. You can change the order of the images by dragging them around, with the first picture being the main one that will show up in orders;

Description — allows you to save detailed information about the product;

Default dimensions — specify the dimensions of the product and when creating a waybill, they will automatically be filled in the appropriate fields;

Measurement unit — by default, pieces. You can choose your own by first adding measurement units in the product settings.

Currency — the main currency of the product. If the product is added to an order or request with a different currency, the cost is automatically converted at the specified rate;

Cost price — specify the cost price, which allows you to perform accurate analytics and see the costs of purchasing products. When receiving products, the cost price is automatically recalculated and set in the product in the catalog;

Price — specify the selling price of the product, which will be used when creating orders manually;

SKU — specify a unique product code, which is required to link publications from sources and products between external systems from which orders are received;

Barcode — specify the barcode value; if you are working with a scanner, you can search for products by it. First, you need to enable the «Use barcodes» switch in the «Settings» → «Products» section;

Product has a few SKUs — a switch that you need to enable if you use product variations: different sizes, colors, or other properties (product characteristics). After turning it on, you can add all the necessary properties and their values.

Product variations — generate all possible combinations of properties and specify the necessary data for each: image, SKU, barcode, cost price, price, weight, dimensions.
After saving the product, you can add new variations to it. But you will have to do this manually for each variation separately:
