How to Copy an Order

Sometimes you need to split delivery into two shipments (create two waybills), or you want to create a new order for a returning customer that’s similar to a previous one. Instead of entering everything manually, you can just copy an existing order.

To do this, open the order, click the three dots in the top right corner, and select Copy. After you confirm the action, a new order will appear in your list.

In the newly created order, you’ll see a reference to the original order number — you can click it to quickly jump back to the original.

Note: Payments are not copied over to the new order — you’ll need to add them manually if needed.

How to Merge Orders

Sometimes customers place two separate orders instead of one — either they ordered products one at a time or forgot to add something to the cart.

To merge these orders:

  1. Go to the Orders section;

  2. Select the orders using checkboxes;

  3. Click Merge from the bulk actions' menu.

Note: You can only merge two orders at a time. If you need to merge more, do it step by step.

In the merge window, you’ll see both orders:

  • On the left: the primary order, which will remain after merging;

  • On the right: the secondary order, which will be canceled after its data is merged into the primary one.

You can switch them using the arrows (1). Before merging, you must assign a cancellation status (2) to the order being canceled.

Once the main order is selected and the status for the cancelled order is chosen, click Merge (3) to complete the process.

After merging, the following details from the canceled order will be transferred to the primary order:

  • Products (with full item details);

  • Payments;

  • Expenses;

  • Files;

  • Tags;

  • Discounts, sales tax, shipping costs, and gift wrapping charges.
